The OSHA 10 and 30 hour general industry safety outreach trainings are recognized nationally and are required for contractors and crews on certain projects. Our trainings engage the attendees through active hands-on type training rather than passive “sit and listen” trainings. Active training is proven to be an effective training method. Trainings have been designed for the crew member, foreman, superintendent and management.
OSHA requires that certain safety programs be guided by written procedure and have designated competent and qualified persons as the subject matter specialist. Competent person training is required for personnel who control, direct or engage with high risk activities at construction sites or general industry. The trainings focus on the controls necessary to eliminate, reduce or control the hazards at the work site.
This OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Safety Course provides the same coursework as the classroom-delivered course developed by the OSHA Outreach Program. This course is appropriate for workers, foreman, job supervisors, and inspectors. A Department of Labor OSHA 10 Hour completion card is issued upon course completion.
Trainings can be conducted in either 8 hour / day sessions for 4 days sessions. All Training must be completed within 6 months of initial training date to obtain your 30 hour card.
